Hi Rick, in speaking to Worthy Grand Knight Ray Foz, he mentioned that I could forward this to you so that you can forward it to all members that you have e-mail addresses for. Thank you!
Thank you and hoping na we can make it on Saturday for our tri-council summer picnic for this year.
Please be advised that on Saturday(August 01, 2009) we will celebrate our FCMM Community Pastoral Day and we've been assign for the set up for the tents and the barbecue. So again they are asking for our services and this is what we are been called. The time for the set up would be 7:30 in the morning and the mass will start at 11:00 AM and the attire for all members and officers are our K of C T-shirt(white or dark blue). So please make yourself available for this date in order to celebrate this event and to enjoy together with our family and friends. Hope to see you there and God bless.

Good day to you all Brother Knights. As you are all aware, the walls of the garage pathway is being repaired. One of the walls is already done and finish (by the contractor). This work cost the Mission more than what we expected. The other wall is slated to be repaired only next year because we still have a long way of projects concerning the windows and repainting of the main church. Unfortunately, as what the Architect from the diocese have told us, we cannot wait too long to repair that wall because it is deteriorating pretty fast. And so my Brother Knights, our help and assistance is being asked once again..lending your precious time to work on this particular project would greatly benefit not only the Church but our organizations cause of CHARITY. I hope to see you all on Saturday, September 19, 2009 at 8:00 in the morning.
I thank you all in advance for coming. VIVA JESUS!
Yours in Christ,

LITURGICAL PRECAUTIONS
IN VIEW OF THE A H1N1 VIRUS
In view of the increasing number of cases of infection with the Influenza A H1N1 Virus in Montreal, the FCMM is adopting certain precautions to prevent the spread of the disease.
EMPTIED HOLY WATER STOUPS (basin for holy water at the entrance) Mass goers are advised to just make the Sign of the Cross when entering/ leaving the Church.
MINIMIZED PHYSICAL CONTACT DURING THE MASS
For the duration of the Pandemic, we remind you to waive the customary clasping of hands when praying the “Lord’s Prayer”;
that the SIGN OF PEACE at Mass may be exchanged not only by shaking hands, but by waving, smiling or by a simple nod. You need not shake hands or kiss each other. If someone chooses not to shake your hand it may be for this reason so please realize that it is not a rejection but a necessity. What is important is to acknowledge the other person with a bow and/or the greeting “Peace be with you.”
to receive the Eucharist in the hand instead of on the tongue to prevent the further spread of germs.
We hope and pray that everyone can stay as healthy as possible by
following the advice of health experts on how we can prevent contracting and spreading the disease.
Good day to you all. Please be informed that there will be no 1st degree initiation on Saturday, Dec. 05 due to unforeseen circumstances. I would like to apologize to you all regarding this matter. Please help me spread this news to our brothers.
Thank you and God Bless.

Dear Brother Knights,
I just want to clear to everyone that the Officers training here at St-Malachy, that we agreed in D.D.'s meeting last month is Cancelled. , For the reason that GK Nacino told me that St-Kevin is NOT available during that time coz they will having their 1st degree Initiation.
My only question is ... Why the re-presentative from St-Kevin didn't advised us that their having an Initiation on that date.
I though we need to do this training before June 15, 2010?
Thank you

Good Day to you Bro. Can you please pass along this message to our members? Thanks.
Brother Knights,
As mentioned during our last meeting, we are asked to help take care of the church's grounds.
I also mentioned that I will be assigning someone to organize and do somekind of a list of your availability so that we could also enjoy our week-ends during this season. Our DGK-Ric Deriquito will be handling this matter. In the meantime, this coming Saturday, June 5, at 9 a.m. - I'm asking your generosity once again to spend time at the church. Our main task is to renovate Fr. Frank's terrace/veranda. Bro. Larry will be there to supervise this project. We will be also doing some hedge trimming, grass cutting and all sorts of yard work. I thank you in advance and hope to see you on Saturday. Vivat Jesus!
Bro, kindly pass along this message to our brother knights. Please have time to read it because it is an important message coming from our fraternal counselor Kevin Ready. Unfortunately, i wont be able to attend this event coz i'll be out of town that same week-end. I asked our Insurance Coordinator, Bro. Peping Tolentino to lead our people. Thanks.

As per our discussion at the last district meeting on Friday, October 29, 2010, at St. Malachy, attached please find the documents related to the Institut de la famille.
Your council should name a family couple that would be responsible for implementing the family project in your council. Members of Institut de la famille would then meet with the family couples at the district level to present the project to be created. SK Ray Foz was wondering if the Pro-Life couple could also be responsible for the family project. There is obviously some connection between pro-life and family, so, yes, you could name your Pro-Life couple as the family couple. You could also name a different couple to give a chance to more people to be involved in your council's activities.
Also attached is the form for reporting a Celebrate a birth event in your council. You can send in the form beforehand and state will then send you the filled-in certificates or the certificates can be produced by the district, I have a copy of the artwork to send to the councils, and the form sent afterwards, but then you must indicate on the form that the certificates have already been given out, otherwise state will produce a duplicate set.

A Special Assembly of FCMM parishioners will be held on Sunday, November 28, 2010, after the 11:30 Mass to elect two (2) new Administrators to serve for a term of three years.
Mrs. Juliana Tabamo and Mrs. Cynthia Puray-Pacheo finish their terms this December. We are most grateful for their service and guidance. Mrs Tabamo is finishing her first term and may be re-elected. Mrs. Puray-Pacheo, on the other hand, is finishing her second term and as such may not be re-elected anymore.
To be eligible for nomination as an FCMM Administrator, one must be a Fiipino, over 18 yrs of age, a practicing Catholic and active supporter of the FCMM. The position of FCMM Administrator has a big task in the Mission integral to its existence. This early we ask you to consider people who can help the FCMM . Please help us find good Administrators. Thank You.

Sir Knights
I was asked by SK Jose Tolentino, Assembly 3103 Navigator to remind each and everyone that we are going to have a meeting and training on November 13, 2010 ( Saturday) at 9:00 A.M. at Our Lady Of the Philippines Parish.
This reminder is also posted at the message Board of San Lorenzo Ruiz Assembly 3103
The Filipino Catholic Mission of Montreal (FCMM) (Notre dame des philippines Catholic Mission) together with the Federation of Filipino-Canadian Association of Quebec (FFCAQ) would like to thank you once again for choosingthe Filipino Catholic Mission of Montreal as a venue to gather Christians of various communities for an information session with you last Sunday, 31 October 2010. We hope you had a fruitful discussion with them. Father Alvarez, his team and parishioners were very honoured indeed to welcome you at FCMM. You may be noted in the the FCMM's history as the first Minister or Government Official to visit them.
We thank you for taking the time to update us on your trip to Manila and inform us the Private Sponsorship Programme. As you will recall, there were a number of queries on immigration cases that some parishioners have raised and we thank you for bringing along an immigration expert to help us with the cases.
We look forward to a continuing dialogue with you on matters of key concern to the Filipino Community.
